DALLAS Dr. Kenneth Salyer was a 27-year-old resident at Parkland Hospital on call for head injuries when he got word a new patient was being rushed to the ER.
"A nurse ran into the room and said, 'The president's been shot,'" Salyer says.
But nothing prepared him for what he saw. "He was still breathing," he says. "It's sort of agonal, labored, close-to-your-last sort of breaths. But he still was breathing."
When the president's clothes were removed, Salyer was surprised by what he found. Kennedy, who suffered from chronic back pain, was wearing a heavy, corset-like brace that went from his chest to below his waist. He believes it cost Kennedy his life.
He's looked at the autopsy report and studied, frame by frame, the 26-second Zapruder film, which captured the assassination and the wounding of Texas Gov. John Connally.

This very rarely is discussed. Regardless of who actually shot him and why, could JFK have survived that first shot without the back brace?

He might have survived the first shot through the neck if he had bent over to lower his head into the car’s interior. The back brace prevented that and left him open for the head shot.

If you buy this argument, the third and fatal shot, the head shot, would have been a miss.

I can’t imagine JFK being anyone’s hero — but I guess he was. That concocted charmed “Camelot” razzle-dazzle really caught on, phony as it was.

Gave us Government unions and stole election from Nixon. If he hadn’t stole the election we wouldn’t have all the problems we have today. No welfare state and immigration invasion with 1965 law by his trashy brother.

One thing for sure, if the CIA hadn’t killed Kennedy, Trump wouldn’t have been robbed in 2020. I’m old enough to remember going to segregated schools and swimming in a segregated pool. Good times, right?

Based on the Zapruda film, he was dead instantly due to the fact his brains were blasted out of his skull. As for the breathing, etc., maybe his brain stem survived.

No he didn't. The war JFK was in was with the CIA. The Clowns In America wanted war in VietNam and in Cuba (and later, Afghanistan)... the CIA is all about war (Eisenhower's warning about the Mil Ind Complex included the CIA).
JFK famously said he wanted to shred the CIA into a 1000 pieces and scatter into the winds.
JFK also was opposed to the FED, in EO 11110, creating silver treasury dollars.
LBJ cancelled and reversed all the good things JFK did.

That head shot, if he was allowed to bend over or slouch would JFK had been saved? I doubt it, as there was a professional sniper at work.
Oswald was not a professional sniper. Oswald’s military had KGB history reveals he was a poor marksman. Then he used a rifle known not to be very accurate. He used this rifle with open sights on a moving target at about 88 yards. And supposedly got in a neck and head shot. NO, I DON’T THINK SO.
