As I stated above, raid mobs spawn on basically anything they like. While even given other options just about every time without fail, the mobs have spawned inside of leaves, on my redstone and hoppers, in my kill chamber (the ravagers break it) and... In my darn villagers. Though, I only have knowledge of over the past few weeks on a survival world with a friend. There is another guy who did a lot of testing on just about every block a mob shouldn't be able to spawn on(with images), and of course, the raid mobs don't care. You should look at his, I'm sure he took a decent amount of time to test that. I really hope this gets fixed, I miss my redstone! Thank you, have a good day! : )
3. Button - Minecraft Wiki - Fandom
Mob Spawn Prevention. Buttons can be used to prevent mobs from spawning on blocks (ie on ice paths). See: Tutorials/Spawn-proofing.
A button is a non-solid block that produces a temporary redstone signal when pressed, with two variants. Stone buttons can only be pressed by players. Wooden buttons remain pressed for longer, and can also be pressed by arrows and tridents. A wooden button is easily broken with an axe, but drops itself as an item if broken using any tool. See the top Post - Best way to control "specific" mob spawning? - and the best response: Forge - CurseForge solution To achieve easy true/false conditions for every mob in your world (including modded mobs), follow these instructions: Download and install Badmobs into your modpack Run an instance of your modded Minecraft up to the main menu Exit Find your modded Minecraft install folder Navigate to your configuration folder (config) that contains a text file: badmobs-common.toml Open it with Notepad Many mobs and items are included in this list, I've only tested with mobs. There will be many #'s... You can read them but, ignore most the #'s and focus on the following: \#When enabled the entity type will be aggresively removed from worlds. This will bypass all other options. removeAggressively = false This does exactly what it says - if you want to turn a mob "OFF", all you have to do, is change "false" to "true" Save the file Run your game, and test it out Note: If you have mods that add other mobs, you should be able to see them in the config folder - make sure to run an instance of Minecraft after you've installed the Badmobs mod, and the mod will include the new mobs in the list of true and false. Read through the list and find the mod, and change the text.
